1. General Legal Notice
Retro Boutique (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates as an online retail store offering retro-inspired graphic t-shirts and related apparel. By accessing our store, placing an order, or purchasing any product, you agree to be bound by the terms and policies set forth in this document. These policies apply to all customers, visitors, and users of our store.
If you do not agree with any part of these policies, please do not use our store or purchase our products.
2. Intellectual Property Rights
All original designs, graphics, artwork, slogans, characters, and visual content created and sold by Retro Boutique are the exclusive intellectual property of Retro Boutique. This includes but is not limited to:
- Original mascot characters (including food characters, anthropomorphic objects, and illustrated figures)
- Original slogans, taglines, and text-based designs
- Color schemes, typography treatments, and overall design compositions
- Product photography, store imagery, and marketing materials
All designs are protected under applicable U.S. copyright law. Unauthorized reproduction, copying, redistribution, resale, or commercial use of any Retro Boutique design — in whole or in part — is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.
Retro & Cultural References
Some of our designs reference retro cultural elements, nostalgic imagery, and era-specific objects (e.g., vinyl record players, rotary phones) that are part of the public cultural landscape. These references are used in original, transformative creative expressions. Retro Boutique does not claim ownership of historical objects, cultural references, or generic nostalgic themes — only of the original artistic expression embodied in each unique design.
3. Print-on-Demand Production Disclosure
Retro Boutique products are fulfilled through third-party print-on-demand (POD) production partners. This means:
- Products are printed and shipped individually upon order - we do not maintain a pre-printed inventory.
- Production and shipping times may vary based on demand, location, and fulfillment partner availability.
- Minor color variations between product preview images and the final printed item may occur due to differences in screen calibration and printing technology.
- Retro Boutique acts as the design creator and brand owner; fulfillment is managed by our production partner(s).
We work diligently to ensure consistent quality across all products. If you experience a quality issue with your order, please refer to our Returns & Exchanges Policy below.
4. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds Policy
Because our products are custom-printed on demand specifically for each order, we operate under the following policy:
Eligible for Replacement or Refund
- Items that arrive damaged, defective, or with a print quality issue
- Items received with incorrect design, size, or color due to a fulfillment error
- Orders lost in transit (after reasonable tracking investigation)
To initiate a claim, please contact us within 30 days of your delivery date with your order number and a photo clearly showing the issue.
Not Eligible for Return or Exchange
- Buyer’s remorse or change of mind after an order is placed
- Size exchanges due to incorrect size selection by the customer (please review our size chart carefully before ordering)
- Minor color variations within acceptable printing tolerances
- Items that have been washed, worn, or altered
We reserve the right to request documentation before processing any replacement or refund.
5. Sizing & Product Accuracy
We make every effort to provide accurate product descriptions, size charts, and preview mockup images. However:
- Mockup images are for illustration purposes only. Final garment color and texture may vary slightly.
- Size charts are provided as general guides. Fit may vary depending on garment style and manufacturer.
- We strongly recommend consulting our size chart before placing an order. We cannot accept returns due to incorrect size selection.
6. Pricing, Payment & Order Processing
- All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD) unless otherwise noted.
- Prices are subject to change without notice. The price charged at the time of order placement is the final price for that transaction.
- We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as displayed at checkout.
- Orders are processed immediately upon placement. Once an order is submitted, we cannot guarantee cancellation or modification. Please contact us as quickly as possible if a change is needed.
- Sales tax may be applied where required by applicable law.
7. Shipping Policy
- Orders are typically fulfilled within 3–7 business days, depending on production volume.
- Shipping times are in addition to production time and vary by destination.
- Retro Boutique is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, or circumstances beyond our control.
- Shipping confirmation and tracking information will be provided via email once your order ships.
- Retro Boutique is not responsible for packages marked as delivered but reported as missing. In such cases, please contact the carrier directly and then reach out to us for further assistance.
8. Privacy & Data Use
Retro Boutique respects your privacy. When you place an order, we collect necessary information including your name, shipping address, email, and payment details solely for the purpose of processing and fulfilling your order.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with unaffiliated third parties for marketing purposes.
- Order and customer data may be shared with our fulfillment and payment processing partners as necessary to complete your transaction.
- By placing an order, you consent to receiving transactional emails related to your purchase (order confirmation, shipping updates). You may opt out of promotional communications at any time.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Products are provided “as-is” and “as-available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Retro Boutique disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Our liability in connection with any product is limited to the purchase price of that product.
